Overview
Calzy respects your privacy. This policy explains what information Calzy handles, where it goes, and the choices you have. It covers only Calzy; other Element30 products have their own policies.
Google Calendar
When you sign in with Google, Calzy accesses your Google Calendar so it can show your events and availability. This includes:
- Event titles, dates, and times
- Calendar names and colors
- Whether you declined an event, so Calzy can leave it off the grid
- A link back to each event in Google Calendar
Purpose: to display your calendar in Calzy, help you find open time, and let you format and share time ranges. Calzy reads your calendar; it never changes it.
Never stored on our servers. Calendar data is fetched from Google in real time and shown in your browser. Calzy does not save your events.
Limited Use
Calzy's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use Google user data only to provide the user-facing features described here.
Your session
To keep you signed in, our server handles the OAuth tokens Google issues and sets a secure, HTTP-only session cookie in your browser over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. We never see your Google password. The access token Google issues lasts about an hour, and we renew it in the background so you stay signed in; the credential that lets us renew it is kept for up to 30 days after your last visit, or until you revoke access — whichever comes first. Disconnect, at the bottom of the calendar list in Calzy, hands that access back to Google immediately and signs you out. You can also revoke it at any time from your Google Account permissions page.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how the app is used — anonymized, aggregated data such as which screens are opened and which features are used. This helps us decide what to improve.
Analytics events are tied to a random identifier generated on your device, not to your name, email, or any Google account. We do not use advertising, ad networks, or cross-site tracking, and we never sell this data. Google's handling of the data it receives is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
How your data is shared
We do not sell, rent, or trade your data. We do not share it with advertising networks, data brokers, or marketing services. Information leaves your device only in the specific ways described above, and only to provide the features you're using.
We may disclose information if required by law or legal process, or where necessary to protect the rights, safety, or property of Calzy, our users, or the public.
Your choices
- Turn off or disconnect any data-sharing feature described above; each section explains how.
- Clear the information kept on your device by clearing your browser storage.
- Contact us with any question about how your data is handled.
Children's privacy
Calzy is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will remove it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in the product or in legal requirements. We'll revise the "Last updated" date above, and if we materially change how Google user data is handled, we'll seek your consent before the change applies to you.
